Elisabeth Hoff spent her formative years in Massachusetts, and received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Northeastern University in Boston. She is driven by a fascination with the relationship between infrastructural systems and ecological processes, and their dynamic impact on the urban landscape. She was originally brought to the Bay Area for an internship opportunity to research resiliency, and was eager to move back shortly after finishing school. She joined ACLA as a designer in 2018 and has since contributed to residential and commercial projects, as well as supporting ongoing marketing efforts. Elisabeth strives to create landscapes that encourage people to recognize the importance of place.
