Bella Oaks Receives 2026 ASLA Honor Award

We are delighted to share that Bella Oaks has received a 2026 ASLA Professional Awards Honor Award in Residential Design. Located on the historic Rutherford Bench in Napa Valley, this 20-acre vineyard reflects more than twelve years of collaboration and a shared commitment to thoughtful stewardship.

Through the restoration of native habitats, riparian corridors, hedgerows, orchards, and meadows, the landscape honors the site’s agricultural heritage while supporting its ecological health. We are grateful to our clients and collaborators for being part of this journey and honored to see the project recognized by the American Society of Landscape Architects.

ACLA was recently featured in Architectural Record for the Herz Recreation Center in San Francisco’s Sunnydale neighborhood.

The feature highlights the community-focused project, designed with Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects, and explores how the recreation center connects the neighborhood to John McLaren Park through welcoming public spaces, thoughtful landscape design, and a strong connection to its natural surroundings.

Andrea Cochran and Alex Strader to Speak at the ASLA 2026 Conference on Landscape Architecture

Andrea Cochran Landscape Architecture is pleased to announce that founder Andrea Cochran and director Alex Strader will be speaking at the 2026 Conference on Landscape Architecture hosted by the American Society of Landscape Architects, taking place September 16–18, 2026.
