UC Davis Health’s California Tower celebrated a groundbreaking this month. Winner of 2024’s AIA Healthcare Design Award, the California Tower will include a 14-story hospital facility and 5-story pavilion adjacent to the existing medical center, and over 4 acres of open space and roof garden. While the full project is scheduled to be complete in 2030, ACLA has been working with Smithgroup and McCarthy on getting landscape installed now for the make-ready phase of the project.
